Cancellation Fees

We refer you to the Cancellation Charges within the Terms of Business. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your instructions to us without costs, up to 14 days from the day after we receive the signed contract back from you. To exercise your right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement, for example, a letter sent by post or email. You may use the cancellation form within the Terms of Business, but you do not have to.

We would like to start work on your claim immediately, referenced in the Letter of Authority, and you will be asked to agree to us beginning work straight away on your behalf. Providing this permission will not affect your 14 days right to cancel and you will not be charged for any work carried out during his time. If you decide to carry on with our service or cancel after the 14-day cancellation period, our normal fees will apply during the above period and as set out in the Terms of Business.

Once the cancellation period ends you may end your instruction to us in writing at any time, but we can keep all your papers and documents whilst there is still money owed to us for fees and expenses.

If you decide that we should stop acting for you, you will pay our charges and fees up until that point. These are calculated on an hourly basis plus expenses or by a proportion of any agreed fee as set out in the Terms of Business.

We offer sensible levels of costs which are calculated primarily on the amount of time we spend on the matter. There may be additional charges for work we need to carry out following receipt of your instruction to cancel, including notifying third parties that we are no longer instructed. An invoice will be sent to you setting our details of any fee due.
